Abstract
In a study of the rat uterine [beta]-glucuronidase during the first seven days of pregnancy, it was found that there was a marked rise in the enzyme level on the 4th day. The implications of this increase in enzyme concentration with regard to the implantation of the ovum are discussed. Keywords
