Abstract
A severe reaction to PAS in a tuberculous patient is presented. The manifestations, which appeared one month after initiation of therapy, consisted of fever, malaise, skin rash, eosinophilia, hepatomegaly, splenomegaly and lymphadenopathy. Biopsies of the liver and lymph nodes are reported. A brief review of the literature on toxic reactions to PAS is included.Keywords
