Abstract
Details are given for the application of the method of Hunter and Goldspink (1954) to the determination of Br in body fluids. As little as 1 [mu]g Br is enough for analysis, so that less than 1ml of serum from people who have received no medicinal bromide, is adequate. The standard deviation of the method is less than 5%, and the extreme range of variation less than 10% of mean values. It is suggested that the method might be useful in the determination of bromine in plant and animal tissues.
