Abstract
The reaction has been used to study the nucleus . The mass excess of has been determined to be -37 541 ± 10 keV. Radiative yields and angular distributions of deexcitation rays from resonances at 4.22-, 4.26-, and 4.52-MeV energy, and angular distributions of rays between bound levels have been measured using Ge(Li) detectors. Bound states have been found at 1083 (), 1905 (), 2454 (), 2531 (), 2886 (), 3175, 3415 (2, 3), 3645 and 3942 keV, and mixing ratios and branching ratios for the decays of some of these levels are reported. The ground state and first excited and states can be explained in terms of configurations. Some of the other low-energy states probably require interpretation in terms of particle-hole configurations. Relative reduced transition strengths from the 2531-keV () state are determined and suggest that the 1905- and 2531-keV states may be the beginning of a rotational band.
