Abstract
Exact solutions to the D-dimensional Einstein-Maxwell dilaton theory are considered. By using the 'patching method', black hole solutions are obtained. These solutions have mass, electric charge and scalar charge, and there is a relation between the above three quantities. The solutions are compared with those obtained in a different parametrization. Keywords
