Abstract
A recombinant DNA plasmid library was constructed from HeLa cell extrachromsomal circular DNA and the sequence organization of one family nf clones, which contain sequences enriched in HeLa small polydisperse circular (spc) DNA, was studied by restriction mapping and base sequence analysis.Restriction mapping revealed each clone to he composed solely of imperfect tandem repeats of ca. 170 bp. The entire DNA sequence of one clone was determined and found to he aiphoid satellite with a vartant monomeric construction. Keywords
