Abstract
SUMMARY: A case of crossed renal ectopia without fusion, which presented as an acute appendicitis, is recorded.Attention is drawn to the relatively high incidence of malignant change in the cases reported previously. My thanks are due to Mr B. H. Page, under whose care the patient was treated, for permission to publish this case. This case was reported to the Section of Urology of the Royal Society of Medicine on 24th February 1955, and I am indebted to the Honorary Editors of the Proceedings for their permission to publish it.
