Abstract
Certain aspects are considered of transport‐related accidents to children within the context of child development and within the overall framework of the interaction between the child, the agent causing the injury, and the environment. The emphasis is mainly on various physical or environmental means of reducing the numbers of accidents and the severity of the injuries sustained, rather than on the education of children or their parents.
