Abstract
HEPATIC hemorrhage with rupture is a serious complication of preeclampsia with a high maternal and perinatal mortality, and the literature states that surgical intervention is indicated.1 , 2 Patients with preeclampsia who have hepatic hemorrhage without rupture can present with similar signs and symptoms; however, the incidence, natural history, and therapy of this condition have not been well described. On the basis of limited experience, surgery has also been recommended in patients with hemorrhage but no rupture.3 , 4 The purpose of this report is to describe seven cases of hepatic hemorrhage associated with preeclampsia in which surgical repair was not required.MethodsSeven . . .Keywords
