Abstract
Severe, intractable high output heart failure in the newborn may be one of the manifestations of vascular tumors of the liver. Clinical signs such as cutaneous hemangiomas, mass or nodularity of the liver, and especially continuous murmurs of the abdomen should prompt an aggressive diagnostic approach, including arteriography and immediate surgical resection, whenever possible. Keywords
