Abstract
• The dimensions of the anterior chamber were studied in 624 eyes of normal subjects ranging in age from 10 to 70 years. It was found that the depth and volume of the anterior chamber diminish with age and are related to the degree of ametropia. Male subjects had larger anterior chamber dimensions than female subjects. Frequency distributions suggested that these dimensions were distributed normally in the test population. Age- and sex-corrected percentile nomograms are illustrated, which can be used to predict the likelihood of finding a particular anterior chamber dimension in a normal eye. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
