Abstract
Sixty-three focal spots have been measured and of these 58 were larger than their declared size. The focal spots of rotating anode tubes were on the average 146 per cent over-size. The suggestion is made that the foci of tubes manufactured 20 years ago were closer to their declared size than those at present in use. Keywords
