Abstract
Experimental values of the isothermal permeability coefficients and heats of transport for helium, neon, and argon flowing through stainless steel capillaries at 273 and 390 K are reported. These data, together with previous results obtained at 328 K, are compared with the predictions of the “dusty gas” theory. In addition, values of the second-order coefficients, which are a measure of the degree of deviation from linearity in the flux-force equations, are reported for helium at 273 and 390 K.Keywords
