Abstract
This paper presents methods for corneal cell cultures and examples of investigations that have been performed using these cultures. The techniques and benefits of corneal storage systems, which have arisen from knowledge gained from biologists are outlined. It is likely that both the use of cell culture and organ storage will become of increasing value in the future, and that advances in the understanding of biological processes at a cellular level will improve knowledge of corneal disease and corneal preservation. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
