Abstract
The pressure dependence of the Morin transition in has been measured directly using NMR techniques and is found to be +3.6±0.3°K/kbar. An analysis in terms of the contributions to the total magnetic anisotropy energy was made, and it is suggested that superexchange anisotropy should not be neglected in accounting for the pressure dependence of the transition.
