Abstract
A description is given of the characteristics and production of old-type Navajo sheep from 1936 to 1942, inclusive, maintained at the Southwestern Range and Sheep Breeding Laboratory. Certain characters descr. are rarely found among domestic sheep on Western ranges. Data on maturity, conformation, wool quality. and physiol. factors are presented and compared with those for improved breeds of sheep.
