Abstract
Sea levels are rising due to global warming. In his Perspective, Meier discusses the contributions of glacier melting in Alaska to sea level rise. He highlights the report by Arendt et al., who show that Alaskan glacier melting has been underestimated. Meier concludes that future sea level rise may be higher than expected. Keywords
