Abstract
In normal and gonadectomized guinea pigs, anterior hypothalamic neurons contain an amount of immunoreactive substance insufficient to react with anti-LH-RH serum. After the injection of exogenous serotonin into the lateral ventricle, a dispersed population of anterior hypothalamic neurons is filled with an LH-RH immunoreactive substance. This storage is probably mediated via inhibition of LH-RH release. Keywords
