Abstract
It has been shown that the alkaloids of C. americanus reduce the clotting time of blood and that this action may take place independently of body tissues or digestion as well as when administered orally or subcutaneously. Experimental evidence seemed to indicate that this action was due to an acceleration of the reaction of thromboplastin by the alkaloids of C. americanus. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
