Methodology of Immunofluorescence Cell Surface Staining with Special Reference to LH Receptors on Leydig Cells and Membrane Immunoglobulins

Abstract
In this paper methodological aspects of production, characterization and specificity control of fluorochrome conjugates are discussed, and some of our results with immunofluorescence tracing of membrane immunoglobulin (Ig) and LH/hCG receptors are reported. We give examples of paired immunofluorescence of different Ig components on human lymphocytes and colon epithelial cells, and describe the distribution of LH/hCG receptors on mature and immature as well as on desensitized rat Leydig cells.
