AN organization called the "Tay-Sachs Prevention Program" displays publicly the following brightly colored sign:A SIMPLE BLOOD TEST CAN PREVENT TAY-SACHS DISEASEDETECTION AND COUNSELING ENABLE CARRIER COUPLESTO HAVE CHILDREN FREE OF THIS DISEASEHardly had I returned to my office after having seen this sign when I found in the mail a blurb from the National Foundation for Cancer Research, 7315 Wisconsin Avenue, Bethesda, Maryland.
