Abstract
Rabbit typhoid H antibodies in a 30-33% saturation ammonium sulfate fraction of rabbit globulin were partially digested with pepsin. The amount of digestion was correlated with tyrosine present in dialyzable digest fragments. Agglutinin activity, in digest fractions precipitated between 40-60% saturation, was maintained or perhaps increased. In the ultracentrifuge these fractions migrated more slowly than undigested globulin suggesting that smaller sized molecules were present. Keywords
