Abstract
Data which had been interpreted to show that men were superior to women mathematically were reanalyzed and shown to support the prospective equivalence of men and women in mathematics. The authors of the initial article criticized the reanalysis of their data. Inadvertently, the additional information offered in their error-ridden and weak defense of an inadequately controlled study lends even more support to the prospective equivalence of men and women in mathematics. Keywords
