The histological changes in the central nervous system in post-vaccinal encephalitis are remarkably uniform and are here described by the author in detail. According to these changes post-vaccinal encephalitis is clearly distinct from poliomyelitis and epidemic encephalitis, and belongs to the group of conditions characterized by demy-elination.
