THE INFLUENCE OF SODIUM TAUROCHOLATE, HEPATIC BILE AND GALL-BLADDER BILE UPON THE ABSORPTION OF OLEIC ACID FROM THE SMALL INTESTINE

Abstract
In exps. on 4 dogs, the absorption of oleic acid which was negligible when introduced alone into a loop of small intestine, was greatly increased by the presence in the loop of Na taurocholate, and somewhat less by hepatic bile or gall-bladder bile.
