Abstract
In this addendum we report the recalculated phonon frequencies of gold using the formalism presented in an earlier paper and compare them with recently available experimental values. Our results are found in reasonably good agreement with experimental measurements. The form factor, effective ion-ion potential, and cohesive energy are also calculated. Keywords
