Abstract
A relatively rare case of unilateral objective tinnitus occurred in a 6-year-old boy. The onset was sudden and of recent origin, having occurred only four days prior to his arrival at the ear, nose, and throat clinic. The diagnosis of palatal myoclonus was confirmed with the Madsen electroacoustic impedance bridge. A rapid, lasting cure was obtained by corneal stimulation while the patient was still attached to the bridge and the results could be visualized.
