Abstract
In this paper, the space of square summable real sequences is considered. Insight is developed into the structure of the space and a method for representation of its elements is described. The method is shown suitable for on-line implementation and is noniterative; it can be used for wave-form design, signal feature extraction, and discrete-time system identification. The applications are exemplified by three simulation studies. Keywords
