IcR products of tunnel junctions with depressed order parameter

Abstract

I_cR_N products of tunnel junctions with depressed order parameters are calculated. It is shown that in contrast to abrupt, classical tunnel junctions, I_cR_N products of junctions with depressed order parameter are a function of I_c with I_cR_N(I_c) ≤ πΔ₀/2e.
