Abstract
4-Aminopyridine poisoning in horses was diagnosed. Specific methods, utilizing thin-layer and high-performance liquid chromatography, were developed for determining the compound in stomach contents and corn bait. The lethal dose was estimated at 2-3 mg/kg of body wt. [4-Ammopyridine is a bird repellent.].
