Abstract
Chemical relaxation effects in aqueous solutions of beryllium(II) formate have been studied using the pressure-jump technique. The reaction proceeds by a stepwise mechanism, for which rate and equilibrium constants have been determined. The results are compared with those found for the formation of other beryllium complexes. Keywords
