Capacity of Anodic Oxide Films on Bismuth in Various Solutions

Abstract

The present paper describes the results of capacity measurements during galvanostatic anodization of Bi in several solutions which include NaH₂PO₄, Na₂HPO₄, ammonium borate, ammonium benzoate, Na₂SO₄ and Na₂CO₃, and throws some light on the effect of solution composition on the parameters of oxide growth which can be derived from capacity data.
