Abstract
The signatures for horizontal-gauge-boson production at a -TeV hadronic collider are studied. Production and decay of the boson leads to very massive lepton pairs (such as or ) in an otherwise quiet event, providing a clean signature. Backgrounds are studied with the Lund Monte Carlo model. The dominant background comes from pairs, but there is good separation of the signal from the background. The identification of may be important for horizontal bosons; we note that the path lengths could be many tens of centimeters, suggesting new possibilities for their identification.
