Abstract
We show how to calculate the root-mean-square parity-violating matrix element M for a heavy nucleons of valence nucleon number in terms of a standard parity-violating interaction . For large values of , we find a scaling law for M in terms of and the number of core nucleus. We compare our results to a recent measurement of M in , obtaining results that bracket the data for three previously determined parameter sets of .
