Abstract
We propose an automatic arrhythmia diagnosis system which can distinguish atrial rhythms from ventricular rhythms. This system discriminates the origination of cardiac stimulation by analyzing QRS complex beat by beat with Fourier analysis and neural network pattern recognition, and then diagnoses arrhythmia with measurement of heart-rate. As well as implementation into a conventional single-chip processor, capability for instantaneous diagnosis and applicability to implant devices are demonstrated. Keywords
