Abstract
A single domain wall was introduced into finite 3d sc Ising models by using suitable boundary conditions, and its properties were studied by means of Monte Carlo simulations. From the polarization profile the wall width and its dependence on temperature and system size were determined. Similarities and differences (especially near Tc) as compared to surface layers are discussed. Furthermore the internal energy of the wall and from it, by a special integration procedure, its free energy are determined. Keywords
