Abstract
The effect of the factors named on the time elapsing between the application of a stimulus to the Achilles'' tendon and the arrival of the action current at the gastrocnemius muscle was studied. Data were collected by means of a special apparatus which includes an oscillograph equipped for photographing action currents, an amplifier, an oscillating time device, and an automatic stimulating unit. The data show that the modification of any of the above mentioned factors has no effect on the conduction time through the reflex arc involved in the Achilles-jerk.This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
