Abstract
Injected Roundup/2,4-D mix, Tordon 101 R, and Velpar L gave greater percent crown kills than did Banvel CST or Banvel/2,4-D mix. All treatments killed oaks more readily than hickories. Hickories ≥5 in. in dbh were the hardest to kill. Second-year pine seedling heights were greater for injected plots than untreated plots, but there were no differences in pine survival and height growth among herbicides. South. J. Appl.
