Abstract
Adult [male][male] injected with small doses of a-estradiol benzoate for 18 mos. showed no effects in gonopodia and caudal fin swords. Spermatogenesis was variously deranged, and two ovotestes containing ova were observed. Unlike the unstable sexuality of the [female] of this sp., that of the [male] cannot be completely reversed, and the ovotestis would be expected to revert to a testis following hormone withdrawal. Hereditary sex detn. in this sp. is briefly discussed. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
