Abstract
In order to investigate the relation between superconductivity and the lattice constant, a perovskite-type Ba1-x Sr x Pb0.75Bi0.25O3 oxide system was synthesized, in which the lattice constant decreased with increasing Sr content. The system was found to be superconducting with x0.3. Reduction of the distance between Pb ions was expected to enhance superconductivity, but this was not the case ; the critical temperature T c was no higher than that of BaPb0.75Bi0.25O3.Keywords
