Abstract
Hexosemono-phosphoric and hexosediphosphoric acids are both decomposed by Bacillus coli communis, with production of CO2, alcohol, and formic, acetic, lactic and succinic acids. Anaerobic fermentation of the acids gives the same results as when glucose or fructose is used. Aerobic fermentation gives slightly different results. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
