Serious Complications of Laparoscopy

Abstract
The authors report a case of fatal carbon dioxide embolism in a woman who underwent diagnostic laparoscopy, during which the insufflation needle punctured a major pelvic vein. The risks of coelioscopy are discussed.Keywords
