Abstract
The plasma of a patient who was treated with a biologically active trypsin digest of bovine growth hormone (TBGH) was studied. Antibodies were present which reacted not only with TBGH but also with human growth hormone (HGH). The binding of I131-labeled human growth hormone by the plasma was inhibited by a variety of primate and subprimate growth hormones.
