Abstract
An overview is presented on spinal disorders in the community based on Swedish statistics gathered over the last 15 years and projected for the year 2000. Commonly encountered spinal problems are discussed, and their need for both nonsurgical and surgical treatment by the year 2000 is calculated.Keywords
