P32 Uptake by I.R.E. Reticulo-Sarcoma Ascites Cells “in vivo” and “in vitro”

Abstract
Incorporation of P32 decreases with age of ascites in all the phosphorus fractions. Phospholipid relative specific activity was reduced less than that of RNA-P and DNA-P. In vitro progressively with the age of ascitic cells the extent of incorporation of P32 was reduced for all phosphorus compartments especially for DNA-P. Anaerobic conditions markedly reduced the incorporation of P32.
