Abstract
The fine structure of the mid‐gut musculature of the desert locust, Schistocerca gregaria is described and compared with that of the visceral muscles of other species. The gross morphology and fine structure of the nervous system which supplies the mid‐gut muscle fibres is described. This publication has 13 references indexed in Scilit:
