Abstract
Selected bacterial strains that are responsible for periodontal diseases are efficiently inactivated by visible light irradiation in the presence of porphycene–polylysine conjugates. Repeated photosensitization of surviving cells does not induce the selection of resistant bacterial strains and does not modify their sensitivity to antibiotic treatment. Keywords
