Abstract
Annual yields of ‘Keauhou’ macadamia (Macadamia integrifolia Maiden & Betche) from a mixed planting averaged about 16 kg per tree more than from a pure block planting. The nuts from mixed-orchard nuts as compared to pure block stands were large (2.72 vs. 2.39 g), had more kernels (38 vs. 35%) and more oil (80.0 vs. 75.7% no. 1 nuts, those > 72% oil). Keywords
