Abstract
It has been established that questin (2), with different levels of [14C]-labelling at two centres, is transformed by cultures of Aspergillus terreus to sulochrin (1) with the same ratio of specific [14C]-labelling at these centres. The significance of this result is discussed in relation to hypotheses concerning the biosynthesis of sulochrin. Keywords
