Abstract
Ab initio simulations of two-photon absorption in donor–acceptor substituted cumulene-containing aromatic molecules have been carried out. The results reveal that these two-dimensional, charge-transfer species possess particularly large two-photon absorption in the visible region with possible applications for optical limiting. Keywords
